My husband and I are done. We are done pleasing others that do not live under our roof. We are done relying on what little means of help and support that are available where we currently live. We are done trying to convince others that we deserve much better than what we're getting. Last but not least, we're done pretending we're happy somewhere that we're actually very lonely and unproductive. So, in six more weeks, we are doing better by ourselves, our beautiful son and our future baby. We are muping to the city! We are going to expect better, because that's what we deserve! We are going to go to school, get jobs, make use of a better transportation and take our kids places by ourselves and we are going to live our own life! Well, just thought I'd share this news with you, so feel free to share in my happiness and elation.
It's a good decission. I don't agree that you necessarily deserve it, this seems to be a pharse people use for justifying whatever they want, usually without anything to back up the claim. You usually deserve what you get, although not always. So, in a way, it's a good decission and I applaud the effort, only time will tell whether you deserved it or not. If you move into the city, get jobs, get education and do it right, then you deeserved it, else you didn't, it's that simple. That being said, I think you're doing the right thing, it's not at all easy, and you got to stick with it, but it's much better to rule your own life and have your own place, especially with kids. I've done both so I should know.
